Marciano Antonio Austell was born on November 17th, 1989 to Michael Austell and Pamela Wilks in Chicago, Illinois. Marciano was raised in a household with his 8 other siblings with him being the third youngest. As a young child, Marciano was brought to church with his mother and attended The Green Grove MB Church and the Original Philadelphia MB Church. As Marciano got older, he met Pastors Darryl and Saundra Yancy and joined Living to Live Again Church Baptist and was raised as a teenager there where they pastored.

Marciano attended and graduated from Thornwood High School in 2008. He furthered his education at Kennedy King and Harold Washington College where he majored in Business Administration and Political Science. Marciano also attended Cain’s Barber College to learn how to cut hair. Marciano also has several other certifications and awards for his experience and expertise in the area of ministry.

In 2005, Marciano heard the call from God to preach and accepted his call into ministry. After giving evidence of the call of God on his life, he was licensed into the ministry in 2007 at The Ark of Safety Apostolic Faith Temple under Bishop Herman Jackson. He preached his first sermon on Sunday, January 7th, 2007 entitled “Can Your Mind Accommodate Faith?”

After showing full proof of his ministry, Marciano was Ordained as an Elder by Pastor William Jenkins and an Ordaining Council at the Flesh Becoming Word Worship Center on September 24th, 2017.

Elder Marciano Austell has served in several capacities of ministry including, but not limited to, a Junior Usher, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Armor Bearer, Youth Pastor, Director of Evangelism and Senior Pastor. Marciano has more than 15 years of ministry experience and believes that because he has served in several capacities in church ministry, that he’s able to properly lead on the front-line.

Marciano’s tenure as a state ward has humbled, yet taught him the value of helping others and understand and show compassion to those who feel abandoned, hurt, homeless, in need and sick. If asked what is his goal in life, simply put it would be “to help anyone and everyone he encounters to have a greater experience with God and to help them heal from and overcome their past challenges.”

Marciano founded the Greater Experience Church in September 2016 and currently serves as it's Senior Pastor!
